The Indialantic Chamber Singers is the premier vocal ensemble of Brevard Country, Florida.  Our professional quality ensemble has been a presence in Brevard and beyond since 1999. We are a professional quality, auditioned group comprised of degreed musicians, choral arts professionals and experienced vocalists.  ICS performs a variety of accompanied and a cappella works in many traditions, including sacred, traditional and contemporary.

 

MISSION AND VISION

The mission of the Indialantic Chamber Singers is to expand awareness and appreciation of the Choral Arts. We strive to enrich, inspire, entertain, and educate audiences of all ages through the pursuit of artistic excellence in our performances of choral music of all genres.   Our ensemble seeks to grow in artistic excellence, develop and engage our audiences, strengthen our organizational foundation and increase our community presence as Brevard County’s Premier Vocal Ensemble.

 

AUDITION FOR THE ICS

The ensemble rehearses weekly on Monday nights from 7 pm to 9:30 pm at Eastminster Presbyterian Church Hall. Additional rehearsals and workshops are held throughout the performance season. The ensemble schedules “dress” rehearsals during the week prior to each performance and at other times as needed. Singers are expected to commit to attend all rehearsals.  There may be other opportunities to audition with us so please check this page regularly.

 

Don't worry about being nervous.  We've all had to audition to be a part of this ensemble, and we promise to do everything we can to make you comfortable so that you can sing with confidence.
